Tote bags are one of the most repeat-ordered items in our factory because they actually get used after the event — unlike disposable swag, they carry the brand for months. Ink's Idea produces totes in 12oz cotton canvas: a dense, structured fabric that holds its shape after washing, with double-stitched handles and a reinforced base that carries real weight. Natural (unbleached) and black are stocked as standard.

For printing on canvas we default to silk screen. It lays down opaque, wash-durable ink and gets economical fast once you cross 100 pieces. For multi-color art, photography, or gradients where plate separation gets expensive, DTF is the cleaner option — same crisp result, no per-color plate cost. MOQ for bags is 50 pieces per our factory policy. Lead time runs 14-21 days after sample approval, with rush terms available at +15-25% if you're up against an event deadline. Per-piece pricing steps down at 100 / 300 / 1,000+ break points. Free design work, three revision rounds, and one physical sample are included in every quote.

Tote bag FAQ

Why is MOQ 50 for tote bags?
Bags involve more cut-sew steps and base reinforcement than a t-shirt, so setup cost per unit stays reasonable only above 50 pieces.
How is 12oz canvas different from lightweight muslin bags?
12oz canvas is denser, holds its shape, and carries 3-5 kg reliably. Lightweight muslin sags fast and works only for single-use giveaways.
How many print colors can I use?
Silk screen charges per color plate — 1-3 colors is the sweet spot. For photographic or multi-color art, DTF skips plate costs and stays sharp.
Can you produce colors other than natural and black?
Yes, but the canvas has to be dyed in a run. We recommend 300+ pieces to make it worthwhile, and add roughly 7-10 days for the dye step.
